Meet Satin Turner!

Satin Turner is an adorable 11-year-old, 7-pound Maltese with a sweet personality and a heart full of love. Satin is deaf, but don't let that stop you from falling in love with this precious girl! She has learned to communicate in her own special way and does wonderfully with her people.

Satin has good potty manners and even lets you know when she wants to go outside or come back in by barking. She sleeps like a little angel, whether she's cozy in her dog bed or curled up next to you in bed.

What Satin really wants most is to be with her humans. She loves being part of the family and would happily follow her people around and soak up all the attention. She gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves children.

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion who will be devoted to her family, Satin may be your girl. Her deafness just means she experiences the world a little differently—but she has plenty of love to give and is ready to share it with her forever family.

Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.

The Maltese is a small toy breed known for its glamorous white coat, which is long, silky, and virtually hypoallergenic. They are gentle, affectionate companion dogs that thrive on human companionship and make wonderful family pets. Maltese dogs are playful, intelligent, and alert, with a confident demeanor despite their small size. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and are suitable for apartment living due to their size and adaptability.
