Some bonds are simply meant to last forever, and Candy and Cane are the perfect example. These adorable 6 to 8 year old Chihuahua siblings each weigh around 12 pounds and have spent their entire lives by each others side. Their connection is truly special, and because of that, they are looking for a forever home where they can stay together.

If youve ever been hesitant about Chihuahuas, Candy and Cane are here to change your mind. They arent the yappy, high strung dogs that people often expect. Instead, theyre incredibly gentle, affectionate, and happiest when theyre snuggled up with the people they love. Theyll softly place their paws on your leg as if to politely ask, Can you pick me up? and once you do, theyre in heaven.

Candy is especially devoted to her brother and looks to Cane for comfort and confidence. Wherever Cane goes, Candy is never far behind. Together, they also become little shadows to their humans. Whether youre making dinner, folding laundry, or even stepping into the bathroom for a shower, dont be surprised to find these two patiently waiting nearby. They simply adore being close to their people and are looking for a family that has plenty of time to shower them with the love and attention theyve been waiting for.

These sweet pups get along wonderfully with other small dogs and do well with cats, making them easy additions to many homes. They sleep peacefully together in a crate every night, love curling up in a cozy dog bed piled high with soft blankets, and enjoy a calm, relaxed lifestyle. They do well going potty outside and have also been successful using pee pads when needed.

Candy and Cane are both spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, and will each receive a veterinary health certificate prior to adoption. At just 6 years old, they have so much love left to give and are hoping to find a family that understands just how special their bond is.
