Meet Deuce!

Deuce is a 10 year old male Shih Tzu mix weighing around 15 pounds, and this sweet senior boy is all about enjoying the simple things in life — good food, cozy naps, and lots of love. He has such a calm, happy, easygoing personality and is truly the kind of dog who brings peace and comfort wherever he goes.

Deuce loves to eat, loves to relax, and loves being cared for. He’s quiet, gentle, and perfectly content curling up on a comfy dog bed, lounging on the couch, or simply hanging out near his people. He’s at the stage in life where he’s just looking for a soft place to land and a family who will love him unconditionally through his golden years.

He has been wonderful with the other dogs in his foster home and does just fine with cats as well. Deuce is incredibly easy to have around and adapts well to a calm household environment.

He uses potty pads and also goes to the bathroom outside, making him very manageable and easygoing when it comes to daily routines. He will sleep in a crate at night if needed, though he’d much prefer a cozy bed or couch where he can relax in comfort.

Deuce is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will come with a health certificate prior to adoption.

This sweet senior gentleman deserves a loving retirement home where he can be spoiled, cherished, and enjoy all the naps and snacks his heart desires.
