Wally - Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Fort Worth, Texas

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‐984‐1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.

Wally is an approximately 5‐year‐old Shih tzu mix weighing about 10 pounds. He came to us from Animal Control after needing a tail amputation, which was successfully performed by our veterinary team. He has healed beautifully and is now ready for adoption.

Wally is a small dog with a big personality. He was previously adopted but returned after showing aggression, including biting. Because of this, he will need a home without children.

Wally does not do well with other animals and should be placed as the only pet in the household. He thrives best in an environment where he can be the center of attention and receive consistent structure and guidance.

While he has his challenges, Wally also has the potential to be a devoted companion for the right adopter who understands his boundaries and is prepared to give him the safe, stable home he needs.

His adoption fee is flexible.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether he is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.

If you'd like to meet Wally, we'd be happy to help. He's a resilient, affectionate pup who's ready to bring joy and love to his new family. 🐾✨
