Sheldon - Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Fairfield, Connecticut

I’M PERFECT! Yep, that's what I hear, so let me tell you why... My name is Sheldon, and I am a 2-year-old, 14-lb purebred Shih Tzu looking for a forever home. I am a happy, friendly boy who makes friends easily with everyone in town, but my owner wasn't caring for me, and I was a matted mess when they gave me to a man who couldn't keep me, who then surrendered me to the dreaded Port Lavaca “kill” shelter! Thankfully, 4 Little Paws Rescue snapped me up in mere seconds and had me groomed/shaved, so now I’m handsome as ever, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and have my veterinary records packed and ready to leave Texas behind!

My foster mom says there isn't much I don't like. I love playtime with my dog friends and playing with dog toys, but nothing beats being with my people. I love going for walks, don't mind a car ride, and don't mind a crate for a few hours here and there, but honestly, I don't need to be kept in one. I am perfectly well-behaved, housebroken, and only bark when I need to alert you. I’m also the perfect loverboy without being annoying or clingy. All around, I am the perfect little dog, ready to join a perfect family. Inquire about me today... but hurry!
