Buttercup - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Fairfield, Connecticut

Howdy from Texas! I’m Buttercup. A very friendly female Red Heeler mix, sweet as can be, about 4.5 years old, weighing 55 lbs. I was a stray dog, rescued by a good Samaritan who had way too many rescue dogs, but no funds to care for us. That's when I was surrendered to another rescue, and now 4 Little Paws is lending a hand to find me a wonderful forever home! I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, happy, healthy, and ready to get the heck out of Texas!

First and foremost, I’m a wonderful girl with an exceptional personality- smart, sweet, loving, caring, easygoing, social, and friendly with everyone, including strangers, kids, dogs, and kitty cats. I have a medium energy level and love to play with people, dogs, stuffed toys, and it's always fun to learn new things, especially when offered a doggy treat. My foster mom says I’m an affectionate, well-behaved girl who rarely barks and doesn't chew, dig, or jump fences, but I’m not a fan of sharing my toys with other dogs. I have no separation anxiety, am not scared of loud noises, and I am housebroken. I love walks and car rides, social gatherings, don't mind being dressed up like a pretty bumble bee, LOL, and do well in a crate even though I don't need one. I’m an easy dog to love and, with my caring, loving demeanor, would make an excellent family dog! Inquire about me today.
Adoption Fee: $500

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
