Frankie - Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Closter, New Jersey

Meet Frankie, an adorable 4-year-old Shih Tzu looking for a loving forever home. Frankie has been through some changes in his life after the passing of his owner, and he's ready for a fresh start with a family who will give him the love and stability he deserves.

This sweet little guy is friendly with people and other dogs, although he can be a little shy when first meeting someone. Once he warms up, he's happy to shower you with kisses and follow you around the house. He may do best in a quiet, all-adult household where he can feel comfortable and secure.

Frankie is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He's looking for a loving home where he can settle in, feel safe, and enjoy being someone's cherished companion.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!

2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.

3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)

4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
