Scarlett - Calico Cat for Adoption in Closter, New Jersey

Beautiful Scarlett is a mysterious girl. She appeared near a feral cat colony, pregnant and hungry. We are assuming her owners didn't want to have to deal with kittens and dumped her there. We had expected her to be shy and afraid, but she was totally the opposite. Scarlett loves people. She makes biscuits non-stop and loves to be petted. She's extremely social, an easy and pleasant companion. All 5 of Scarlett's kittens found wonderful homes and now it's her turn. Could you be Scarlett's forever home?

If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.clawsadopt.org), as it will be processed quicker than emailing us just through Petfinder.

Adoption events are held at Donna’s Pet Depot in Northvale, NJ every Saturday from 11-3. You can check our Facebook and Instagram pages for updated info on the cats/kittens that will be there each weekend. Not all cats/kittens listed on Petfinder attend.

The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
