DESCRIPTION
Meet Eevee! Eevee is a 2.5-month-old, 3.26lbs female Shetland Sheepdog. Eevee is a sweet little lady who just wants to be snuggled. She is a small girlie who will need to eat frequently throughout the day to ensure she doesn't become hypoglycemic. Eevee‘s left eye has developmental abnormalities in which the eye failed to develop to the correct size and is smaller than normal. This eye also has a severe form of a persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous, where an embryological vessels that extends from the back of the eye to the back of the lens failed to regress. For Eevee, this vessel is causing a small cataract and a mild amount of hemorrhage or bleeding behind the lens. This eye still visual and this is not causing discomfort but she may loose vision at some point or need future care for her left eye.
The adoption fee is $800. This includes the spay, microchip, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation, deworming and all core vaccines through puppyhood (as long as you return to us for vaccines).
If you are interested in adopting Eevee, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Eevee" in the subject. Please also tell us about yourself and your household.
