DESCRIPTION
Meet Sheila! Sheila is a 4-year-old, 41lbs, female Corgi who is settling in beautifully into home life with her foster and showing just how sweet and easygoing she truly is. While she was a bit nervous at first, she has quickly relaxed and now enjoys spending her days laying by her fosters desk and her evenings curled up on her fosters lap. Sheila walks great on a leash, loves daily walks, and has excellent recall. She is doing well with house training, with only one crate accident reported, and she sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. Sheila gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making her a great fit for a multi-pet home. She can be a little timid at times, but she is incredibly friendly, loving, and eager to bond with her people. Sheila does have a grade 1 of 4 luxating patella in both knees, which is considered mild and not expected to go lame. Overall, she is a truly special little dog who will make a wonderful, loyal companion.
The adoption fee is $500. This includes the spay/neuter, dental cleaning, microchip, heartworm test, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation and all core vaccines.
If you are interested in adopting Sheila, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Sheila" in the subject. Please also tell us about yourself and your household.
