Looking for the perfect mix of playful puppy and easygoing companion? Meet Philly, a handsome 4-month-old German Shepherd mix weighing around 25 pounds. With those adorable puppy paws and growing frame, he's expected to be a big boy when fully grown!



Philly is the kind of puppy who wins hearts wherever he goes. While he enjoys wrestling and playing with his canine friends, he's surprisingly laid-back for a youngster and loves to follow the lead of the dogs around him. Living with six foster siblings ranging from 10 to 70 pounds, Philly has learned excellent dog manners and accepts correction beautifully from both his foster mom and the resident dogs.



This smart little guy is already making impressive progress with his indoor manners and has been accident-free since settling into his foster home. He loves his twice-a- day pack walks, enjoys exploring the fenced acreage with excellent recall, and is learning his leash manners. When he's tired from all the fun, Philly will happily head to his crate all by himself for a cozy nap!



Philly is eager to please, incredibly intelligent, and would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training through puppy classes. His foster family believes he has all the makings of an exceptional companion. He currently lives with indoor cats and, while he may bark at them occasionally, he responds well to corrections and shows no desire to harm them.



Like any puppy, Philly will need supervision as he learns the rules of his new home, but so far he's been a very good boy—no socks or shoes have fallen victim to puppy mischief! As long as he has plenty of toys and love, he's a happy camper.



Philly is already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on preventatives. Now all he needs is a loving family to call his own.
