Meet Louie!



Louie is a 4-month-old Shepherd mix weighing about 20 pounds, and he's the perfect blend of sweet, snuggly, and adventurous. This handsome little guy may be a bit shy when meeting new people or dogs, but give him a little time and his loving personality quickly shines through.



Louie is a laid-back boy, happiest when he's curled up in your lap soaking up cuddles. Don't let his calm side fool you, though—he's still a puppy! He enjoys exploring the world around him, playing with his brother and foster siblings, and proudly carrying off anything he thinks might make a good toy. Paper towel rolls are a favorite for shredding, and Benebones are always a hit.



He's a smart little pup who's already crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. House training and leash walking are both coming along nicely, and he's been doing an excellent job holding it until it's time to go outside.



Louie gets along well with children and other dogs, and while he hasn't been tested with cats, his gentle nature suggests he may do well with a proper introduction.



Louie is neutered, UTD on age-appropriate vaccines, and on monthly preventatives.
