Meet Carl!



Carl is a 4-month-old Shepherd mix weighing about 20 pounds, and he's equal parts explorer, goofball, and future adventure buddy! Fostered with his brother, Carl is a smart, curious puppy who's always ready to investigate something new.



Like many puppies, Carl can be a little shy when meeting new people or animals, but it doesn't take long for his sweet personality to shine through. Once he's comfortable, he's happy to play with his brother, his five foster dog siblings, and anyone willing to join in the fun.



Carl has already discovered one of his favorite hobbies... water! Whether he's splashing both paws into the water bowl, digging for imaginary treasure, or enthusiastically trying to chomp the garden hose, this silly boy keeps everyone laughing. We have a feeling he'll be the kind of dog who loves pools, lakes, and any excuse to make a splash as he grows up.



He's crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night, doing an excellent job holding it until it's time to go outside. Carl is learning all about indoor manners and leash walking; both coming along nicely, and with how intelligent Carl is, he's eager to keep learning.



Carl is great with children and other dogs. He hasn't been tested with cats yet. He has typical puppy energy with playful bursts followed by well-earned naps, enjoys car rides, and never says no to shredding a paper towel roll or chewing on a Benebone. A securely fenced yard is required so this adventurous little guy has a safe place to run, play, and explore.



Carl is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, and on preventatives.
