Stella - Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Springfield, Missouri

With ears this big and a smile this sweet, I was practically destined to be named Stella! Just like the children's book character, Stellaluna, I’m curious, smart, and ready to find my very own happy ending. I’m a 1 year old Shepherd mix weighing 34 pounds, and I’m house-, crate-, and leash-trained. I know sit and crate, and I’m a laid-back girl who loves people—especially kids! I get along well with dogs my size, cats, and children, too. I could happily live in a house or an apartment, as long as I get daily exercise and some fun time to stretch my legs. I should mention that baby gates are more of a suggestion to me—I’ve been known to jump right over them when I really want to get somewhere! But with my sweet smile, smart personality, and big heart, I’m hoping my forever family will see that I’m worth the leap.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
