Tagalong is 51 pounds of handsome shepherd mix with a gentle nature and a surprisingly polite approach to life. At 1 year old, he's sweet, social, and the kind of guy who would rather make a good impression than make a scene.

Tagalong came into rescue with his buddies Twila and Crescent, but this handsome guy has plenty of personality of his own. He's friendly and affectionate, and once he knows you're a friend, he's happy to stick around and enjoy your company.

He's still working on building his confidence, so Tagalong appreciates people who let him take things at his own pace. He's not trying to be the loudest guy in the room—he'd rather observe, learn, and gradually decide that the world is a pretty good place after all.

And yes, the name fits. Tagalong is the kind of companion who'd happily join you for the adventure, the errands, the walks, or simply hanging out at home. He's not looking to run the show; he'd just like to be part of it.

Tagalong is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm on his 4DX test. He's ready for a family who will help him build his confidence while showing him just how good life can be.
