Mavie - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Pflugerville, Texas

Mavie has a signature move: when she's feeling extra excited, she bounces around in the cutest little froggy hops.

Born around late June 2026, Mavie is spunky, chunky, brave, and full of confidence. Her favorite things in life are rough-housing with her brothers and sister and mealtime, and she gives both her full enthusiasm. She came to her foster home with some wobbly back legs, and a special brace helped her build strength. It never slowed her down for a second, and her legs are strong now. She's also got a little patch of healing skin around her nose that's looking fresh and pink, and it only adds to her feisty personality.

Mavie is still too young to have gone on any outings, so a whole world of new sights, sounds, and smells is waiting for her. She'll do best with a family that loves a bold, playful pup and has the energy to keep up with her, ideally with another dog to wrestle with. She's expected to grow into a medium-to-large adult, and she's up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
