Merit - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Pflugerville, Texas

Merit has a best friend, and it's a stuffed piggy: he loves that toy with his whole heart and keeps it close.

Born around late June 2026, Merit is a sweet Shepherd mix puppy who gets wiggly with excitement the moment mealtime rolls around. He may be a little smaller than his littermates, but he has a big appetite and a big heart. He's calm and content in his own play area, happily entertaining himself with his toys and giving crate training a head start, and he uses a puppy pad like a pro. A brief tummy upset from a parasite is behind him, treated and cleared, and he's feeling great. His world so far has been his foster home and the vet, so he has plenty of new sights, sounds, and smells still to discover.

Merit will do best with a family who is ready to show him the world one adventure at a time. He's expected to grow into a medium-to-large adult, and he's up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
