OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.
Spud is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. This incredibly sweet Shepherd girl may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and she’ll show you just how loving she truly is.
Once Spud feels safe and comfortable, she absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She has a gentle, calm presence and is the kind of companion who simply wants to be by your side.
Spud is also a wonderful girl in so many other ways. She walks nicely on leash, is good with cats, and is a very smart girl. She’s quiet and well-behaved in her kennel, too.
What Spud needs most is someone who understands that the best relationships sometimes take a little time to grow. A patient, loving family willing to let her settle in at her own pace will soon discover the affectionate girl waiting underneath that initial shyness.
