OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Harley is a Potcake with a huge heart packed into his smaller frame. He is absolutely, undeniably loving and would happily accept all the pets you’re willing to give him!

Harley came to the shelter last June as a very young puppy, weighing only 4 pounds and in rough shape. He had a tough start to life, but with the help of an amazing veterinary team, Harley grew stronger day by day and eventually made a full recovery.

What makes his story even more special is that through all of it, Harley never lost his sweet spirit. Despite being scared and not feeling his best, he remained incredibly friendly and grateful to the people who cared for him.

Today, Harley is a completely different little guy. He is SUPER friendly with everyone he meets, loves being showered with affection, and absolutely adores having dog friends to play with. He has so much love and happiness to share, and he’s ready to share it with a family of his own.

After everything Harley has overcome, it’s hard to believe he is still waiting for his chance at home life. He has fought his way back to health, grown into a happy and affectionate young dog, and now he’s ready for the next chapter.

It’s Harley’s time to shine.

He’s ready to leave the shelter behind and finally curl up in a warm, loving home where he can be spoiled, showered with pets, and reminded every day just how special he is. Harley has already overcome so much. Now all he needs is someone to give him his happily ever after.
