Lucky - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Michigan City, Indiana

Lucky is the type of dog who immediately becomes everyone's best friend. He makes us laugh because he literally melts into belly rubs. He loves them!

When meeting new people, Lucky frolics to every person he sees just to say hello. He loves running and playing. We think Lucky would feel very lucky to find someone who enjoys daily walkies and maybe even a jog every so often!

Because he is such a good boy, he knows how to sit politely and how to lay down. He poses for pictures like he knows how handsome he is!

Playing fetch, playing tug-of-war, going for runs and walks and going for car rides are a few things Lucky enjoys. His favorite toys are squeaky toys, Kongs, tug ropes and tennis balls.

He's so smart and is very eager to learn new things! Plus, being around Lucky is truly just enjoyable. He has enjoyed playing with some other playful shelter dogs! We're still monitoring his cat interactions at the shelter. Kiddos should be about 8ish and older.

Lucky is a little younger than two years old, weighs 46 pounds and he is neutered. He's the sweetest prince
