Jay - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Larkfield-wikiup, California

Jay is one of 8 pups born to Breann. We think dad may have been a Border Collie or Aussie. Mama Breann is a beautiful Sheppard/Labrador type mix of probably 50-60 pounds who showed up on a Central Valley property and started delivering her puppies in the blistering heat. All the pups get daily gentle handling and they LOVE people. The early exposure to positive human touch will literally impact them for the rest of their lives. There are four boys and four girls in this litter.

Rough guess the pups will be 40-60 pounds at maturity for the pups. They arrived in our care at just one day old and will be available for adoption at 8 weeks. We are accepting applications now and the adoption team will be reaching out closer to adoption age.
