Meet Sheldon! This playful, clever little guy is always ready to explore, and one of his favorite hobbies is finding the very best sticks in the yard and proudly carrying them around. Why buy toys when the landscaping provides them for free?

Sheldon can be a little more reserved when it comes to affection and is still figuring out the whole snuggling-and-being-held thing. He enjoys it once he settles in, but he prefers to take things at his own pace rather than immediately throwing himself into your lap.

He’s a smart pup who is already off to a great start with potty training and sleeps quietly through the night in a round pen. Playful, curious, and just independent enough to make you earn those cuddles, Sheldon is a sweet little guy with plenty of personality waiting to come out.

Sheldon is a 3-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Sheldon is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
