Meet Jet

Jet is 80 pounds of pure affection packed into one big, lovable body. This handsome boy 3 year old believes belly rubs should be unlimited and has perfected the art of gently pressing his head against your legs, your chest, or wherever he can get a little extra love. If you're looking for a dog who wears his heart on his sleeve, Jet is your guy.

Strong? Absolutely. But he's also eager to please and respectful with someone who knows how to handle a powerful dog on leash. Around the house, he's more gentle giant than athlete—a happy goof who would much rather lean into you for scratches than be the center of attention. His playful curiosity extends to everything around him...including keeping a close eye on the neighborhood squirrels.

Jet has had surgery to correct a condition affecting one of his eyes. The good news is that both eyes are healthy and he has full vision. One eye is slightly smaller than his eyelids, so he blinks a little more than most dogs and may need occasional lubricating eye drops long-term. It doesn't slow him down one bit. After all, a little extra blinking has never gotten in the way of a good belly rub.

Head bumps, belly rubs, and a whole lot of heart. Jet's just waiting for the right place to share them.

S.T.A.R. Group, Inc is a foster-based organization located in Corpus Christi, TX. All pets are in a foster home in South Texas and are transported once adopted. Our animals are listed in different cities throughout the country that has transport available.

Adoption Fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, current on recommended preventions and a ride on the next available transport to their new families' area.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. S.T.A.R. Group is made up of volunteers, so please give us a couple of days to begin processing your application.
