Dumpling - Shar Pei Dog for Adoption in Rollingwood, Texas

Meet Dumpling — A Little Bundle of Wrinkles and Wonder!

Some puppies grow into their looks. Dumpling arrived with enough character in her face to last a lifetime!

With her wonderfully wrinkled forehead, velvety floppy ears, soulful eyes, and a smile that seems almost too big for her little face, Dumpling is a puppy you simply can't forget.

One minute she looks like a wise little philosopher contemplating life's greatest mysteries. The next, she's grinning from ear to ear, looking every bit like the happy, curious puppy she is.

This beautiful Shar-Pei mix is one of four siblings with an extraordinary rescue story.

Firefighters rescued the puppies from a flooding river, scooping them out of danger. Their mother, completely feral and terrified of people, was much harder to save. Rescuers placed her babies inside a trap and waited for hours until she finally entered. Thanks to their patience, the entire family survived.

Now safe and receiving care, Dumpling has a wonderful future ahead of her.

She's still a young puppy with plenty to discover, and we're learning more about her individual personality every day. But those wonderful expressions already reveal a little girl with plenty of charm!

Dumpling needs a loving family ready to provide patience, guidance, and all the affection a growing puppy deserves.

After such an extraordinary beginning, what could be better than a beautifully ordinary life filled with love, playtime, and cozy naps?

Dumpling may have a face full of wrinkles, but her future should be nothing but smiles!
