Meet Johnny!

Johnny is a handsome Shar-Pei estimated to be around 3-4 years old and weighing 40 pounds. He arrived with another dog, Jane, after the two were found together as strays. The kind people who found them cared for them for several weeks while hoping their family would come looking for them. When no one did, Jane and Johnny made their way to us to begin their next chapter!

Johnny is a friendly and independent pup who enjoys spending time with his human friends but is equally happy doing his own thing. He loves sniffing and exploring his surroundings and especially enjoys having the freedom to roam around the play yard. Every now and then, he gets a case of the zoomies, too! Johnny also loves playing with squeaky stuffies and is always happy to accept a tasty snack. He knows sit on command and is very treat motivated, so he's always happy to show off his skills when snacks are involved! Once Johnny has finished exploring and getting some playtime in, he enjoys settling down for some pets and attention from his human friends before heading off to find his next adventure!

Johnnys ideal home:

* Has potential to live with another dog. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs will take place at the shelter to make sure everyone is a good match.
* Has potential to live with a cat with proper introductions.
* Would do well with kiddos aged 10 and older.
