Meet Moxie!

Moxie is a lovely Mixed-Breed girl estimated to be around 1-2 years old. This petite pup weighs 45 pounds. She found her way to us as a stray and unfortunately, was never reclaimed.

Moxie is a friendly, independent girl who enjoys taking life one sniff at a time! She loves going for walks and exploring all the interesting sights and smells around her. She walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful walking companion. Moxie also knows how to "sit" on command and is always happy to accept a tasty treat. Best of all, she takes snacks very gently.

Moxie's ideal home:
* Children ages 8 and older.
* Has the potential to live with another dog and did well during her shelter dog introduction. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs will take place at the shelter to ensure everyone is a good match.
* No cats, please!

Why wait to welcome Moxie home? Through our Foster-to-Adopt program, she can head home with her future family before her scheduled spay procedure. After her surgery, the adoption can be finalized—but until then, she'll get to trade her kennel for a comfy bed, daily adventures, and all the love she's been waiting for.
