Meet Ivy!

Ivy is a beautiful Pomsky estimated to be around 5 years old. This petite girl weighs 40 pounds. She found her way to us as a stray and unfortunately, was never reclaimed.

Ivy is a sweet, friendly girl with a gentle and submissive personality. She enjoys leisurely walks and has wonderful leash manners, making her a great walking companion! Ivy already knows how to "sit" and is always happy to earn a little praise (or a tasty snack!). She adores spending time with her favorite people and will happily soak up all the affection you have to offer. Give her some gentle belly rubs, and she'll melt right into you - and if you're lucky, you might even get one of her sweet little kisses!

Ivy's ideal home:
* Children ages 8 and older.
* Has the potential to live with another dog and did wonderfully during her shelter dog introduction. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs will take place at the shelter to ensure everyone is a good match.
* Has the potential to live with a cat with slow, proper introductions.

Ivy is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program! This allows her to head home with her future family while she waits for her scheduled spay procedure. Once her surgery is complete, her adoption can be finalized. In the meantime, Ivy gets the best of both worlds—a cozy home, plenty of love, and the opportunity to begin her happily ever after before it's officially official.
