Pepper is a sweet 12-year-old Schnauzer who is looking for a loving home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by people who adore him.

Pepper has diabetes and receives an insulin injection twice a day—once in the morning and once at night—to help keep his blood sugar regulated. Because of his diabetes, Pepper drinks more water than the average dog and, as a result, cant always hold his bladder as long. His future family may need to use a belly band in the home to help with accidents.

Dont let his age or medical needs fool you—Pepper still has plenty of love to give! He gets along well with dogs of various sizes and walks nicely on a leash. More than anything, Pepper loves attention and being close to his people. He is happiest when he can be right by your side getting all the love and affection he deserves.
