Zoey is an 8-year-old brown-and-white American Pit Bull with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Zoey is deaf and has no major health concerns, but she does need a little extra patience and understanding when it comes to meeting other dogs.

Zoey needs slow, thoughtful introductions and is currently working hard on learning how to navigate her emotions without immediately becoming overwhelmed. Shes learning about leash pressure, how to communicate, and how to calmly coexist with other dogs in smaller spaces. She can be quite vocal when shes feeling unsure or frustrated, but she is making progress and continues to learn every day.

When it comes to her people, Zoey is an absolute sweetheart. She thrives on one-on-one attention and loves affection. She is also very treat motivated, which makes training one of her favorite activities! Zoey can be a little stubborn, but once she decides shes ready to work, she is incredibly smart and eager to learn.

Zoey is looking for someone who will be patient with her, celebrate her progress, and help her continue building confidence and learning new skills. In return, youll get a loving, goofy, smart girl who will happily work for treats, attention, and plenty of affection.
