Mandy is a beautiful 12-year-old St. Bernard with a heart just as big as she is. This sweet girl came to us severely underweight at only 80 pounds. She has worked hard to get healthier and is now around 100 pounds, but because of a low-grade malignant mast cell tumor on her face, Mandy has a complex wasting syndrome that makes it difficult for her to gain and maintain weight. She also has severe arthritis and will need a family who understands her medical needs and is committed to keeping her comfortable.
But Mandy doesnt let any of that stop her from enjoying life! She absolutely loves people and is incredibly affectionate. She enjoys being handled, soaking up attention, and hearing how beautiful and wonderful she is. And if youre willing to give her kisses, Mandy will happily give them right back! She is truly a very good girl who loves praise and affection.
Mandy also does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, including small dogs. Shes gentle, easy to handle, and just wants to be around people who will love her as much as she loves them.
Mandy may need a little extra care, but she has so much love left to give. She deserves a comfortable, loving home where she can spend her golden years being spoiled, kissed, praised, and reminded every day just how special she is.
