Quiet, graceful & always ready to go! Meet Hurry — a gentle senior Saluki mix who may be happiest stretching his legs outdoors, then settling in quietly by your side.

BIO:
- Saluki Mix, Senior (9 years old), Male (neutered)
-Medium (45 lb), Medium-energy
- Hurry was surrendered by his owner when they could no longer care for him
- Hurry is neutered, house-trained, microchipped and up to date on his core vaccinations

ABOUT HURRY:
- Hurry has many of the classic Saluki traits — he is intelligent, reserved and quiet
- He loves getting outside and is a swift, agile runner who enjoys having space to stretch his legs
- Once he's had his daily exercise, he's content to come inside and relax near his people
- He appreciates human companionship and is a loyal, fun and gentle companion
- While at EHS, Hurry has been working with our Dog Trainer, who knows him very well and will be happy to support his successful transition to his forever home

HURRY’S IDEAL HOME:
- A quieter, less-busy home with a large backyard and/or access to safe fields or open spaces where he can explore
- Hurry can jump surprisingly high, so he will need a securely fenced yard with a fence that he cannot climb or jump
- He can be sensitive to loud or unexpected noises and does best in calm, predictable surroundings
- We are not recommending him for a home with children or small animals such as cats or rabbits
- Hurry gets along with most dogs; if his potential adopter has another dog, we will arrange a meet & greet
- He is a quiet dog and may do well in a home with shared walls

Hurry has been waiting a long time. All he needs now is a quiet place to call home and someone to share it with
