Esme was born in an EHS foster home after her mom, Gloria, was rescued while pregnant, but it has been a bit of a rough start to life. Esme and her brother, Kobe, both developed Swimmer’s Syndrome (when some or all of the legs splay outward) and needed treatment and physical therapy to correct it. Thanks to their dedicated foster caregivers and other volunteers at EHS--yes, sometimes it does take a village--the kittens have made a full recovery and now “just can’t stop running around.” Esme is now ready to run around in her fur-ever home!

- Kittens, like Esme, have lots of energy!
- Esme is very playful and loves to wrestle with her brothers.
- Little Esme comes with a little attitude. She is described by her foster as the “smartest and sassiest kitten.” You won’t likely need to wonder what Esme is thinking; she will let you know--in the most endearing way, of course!
- This beautiful calico is also a polydactyl (when a cat has a larger than usual number of toes) like the rest of her family. Esme has an extra toe on all of her paws.
- Esme will be spayed, and is microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, and up to date on core vaccinations.

ESME’S IDEAL HOME

- It is important that Esme either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with one of her siblings or another compatible EHS cat.
- Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play, from their family.
