Bridget - Rottweiler and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Polk, Ohio

Hello! Has anyone told you lately that you deserve a Bridget in your life? I’m your sweetie pie, cuddle bug, and certified good girl!

I ended up in a high-kill shelter, where I was so dog-friendly they used me to temperament-test other dogs. Apparently, I was working for treats I never even got paid! The audacity.

I’m sweet, mellow, affectionate, smart, playful, and athletic. I love people and other dogs, and I’d really love a home with a furry sibling to call my friend.

I’m learning commands like sit, and I’m exploring the wonderful world of fetch. I’m still working on bringing the toy back, though. One can only do so much! And if you leave treats unattended on the counter, I might conduct a little quality control.

My foster is getting pretty attached to me, but I think it’s time to find my forever family! I’m a cuddle bug who will make you smile every day, and I promise to give you plenty of love.

I once helped other dogs show their best sides. Now I’m hoping someone will give ME my chance to shine.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
