This adorable little Poodle may have a name fit for a Southern belle, but what Scarlett really wants is something much simpler—a loving family to call her own. Rescued from a breeder, this sweet, mature girl is ready to leave her past behind and discover just how wonderful life can be. Scarlett is looking for someone who will give her the TLC and patience she deserves while she settles into her new life. She's a nice small size, making her an easy little companion, and she gets along well with other dogs. We think Scarlett would be happiest with a family who will let her take things at her own pace and show her all the love she may have been missing.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
