A tiny Trinket, so special, so cherished. Meet her once and it's obvious why she got her name. If she could curl up in the palm of your hand, she would. If she could be worn around your neck all day like the irreplaceable keepsake she is, she would. But she'll settle for your lap instead and movie nights after a long day at work.

This little 7.5lb Toy Poodle is looking for a life of spoiled luxury to spend her golden years after an entire life spent in a breeding kennel. She came to us with fleas, infected ears and almost every tooth in her mouth so rotted that we aren't sure how they hadn't fallen out. Her life was having puppies and clearly nothing else mattered to the people who had her for 10 years. Yet when we rescued her, her little nub tail never stopped wagging. She pranced with endless loyalty beside whatever human smiled her way. She bounced with enthusiasm at any new adventure. Somehow, Trinket knew there was still good to be had in this life and love to be shared.

She may be 10 years old but Trinket is a spry little lady who enjoys evening strolls around the neighborhood and adventures to the local wineries where she's endlessly adored. Her ultimate happy place is with her person so she's equally content to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon in bed. Trinket believes that she should always be close by her people, just in case they may need her...uh, we mean help. She's not much for the heavy lifting, but she's great emotional support for any situation! :-) Well, just look at that face!

Trinket is in a foster home with cats and is very unconcerned about their happenings. She's busy being her human's shadow. She does love the company of another calm, easy going dog, however. Young, playful pups aren't much her speed but a canine companion who understands her passion for sun bathing, minute long zoomies and fluffy bed cuddles, now that's company she'd love to keep when you have things to do and she can't share in the adventure. A crate isn't her favorite place in the world, but your pillow is! Trinket would love to curl up with you all night and all day! Trinket was not fully potty trained when she first came to us, but after working with her foster she's doing great with potty training! Some consistency in her new home will be very helpful for her, but she is a typical smart Poodle and there's just no truth to the saying "old dogs can't learn new tricks!" She's here to prove that!

Since coming into our care, Trinket has been spayed and had a much needed dental with many extractions. She only has a few teeth left but she could care less! Her kibble tastes just as good and she's so much more comfortable! Trinket's ear infection has also been treated. Her adoption fee also includes her microchip, heartworm/tick borne illness testing, senior bloodwork, vaccines, deworming and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. So yeah, our girl is ready to ride off into the sunset in her extra fluffy car seat with a little wind blowing through those curls.
