Gloria came to our rescue ready to put her difficult past behind her, and we couldnt be happier to watch her blossom into the happy, easygoing girl she is today.

When Gloria arrived, our hearts broke. She was overfed to the point of morbid obesity, had an untreated thyroid condition, a bladder full of painful stones, and overdue for some much needed dental care. Her previous owner wasnt willing to provide the care she needed, and she was ultimately left at a vet office with nowhere to call home.

One look into those pleading eyes and we were in love. Gloria has been working hard over the last several months and has already lost an astonishing 10lbs! Shes had her bladder stones removed, shes receiving treatment for her thyroid condition, and shes scheduled for a dental cleaning with extractions on September 10th.

As her little body has been shedding weight, weve had the privilege of watching her personality bloom. Gloria is ready to focus on the important things in life and enjoy her golden years.

Shes an incredibly sweet, laid-back girl who doesnt ask for much. Give her a comfy bed and a person to snuggle with, and shes one happy gal.

Gloria loves her little walks (or waddles!), especially when theres plenty of time to stop and sniff around like a proper beagle. Shes just as happy riding shotgun for errands, soaking up the sunshine in the yard, or curling up with you and watching the world go by.

Shes wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids. Shes potty trained, fantastic on a leash, and quiet as a mouse. Gloria will need to be with someone who is committed to helping her reach and maintain her goal weight, but shes already got the hang of this whole diet thing. Two pills, once a day, and measured meals twice a day. Thats it!

After everything Gloria has been through, she deserves a home where she can finally relax and know that shes safe, loved, and staying there for good. Shes ready for her happily ever after—and wed love nothing more than to help her find it.

Glorias adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, heartworm/tickborne disease screening, ProHeart 12 injection, flea/tick prevention, bladder stone removal, and professional dental cleaning.
