Meet Alexander Your New Best Friend!

Alexander is about 1 year old and is 8 pounds of pure Poodle joy. He is so excited to find his forever home that he put together some information to help you make your decision. Here goes:

Hello there! I am a super happy, healthy, and incredibly sweet young man who is looking for a forever family to LOVE. I can't emphasize this enough. I love to be loved. I am very affectionate, expect to be held often, and am a really happy joyful companion. I also enjoy sitting in a comfortable lap. I'm an excellent snuggler and am REALLY good at it.

I am beautifully black, with the exception of my stylish white goatee. I don't have much of a wardrobe, but my style vibe includes an ascot and perhaps a pipe. I'd probably enjoy a glass of wine by a roaring fire, but again, I'd need to be sitting in your lap.

I am already neutered, vaccinated, in tip-top health, and ready to accept lots of kisses and hugs and lap time which will bring a lifetime of smiles to my new family. How lucky you will be!

As if you need anything further to close the deal, you will be glad to know that I love to play with other dogs. I don't care what size my friends are and I am friendly with dogs of all backgrounds. Few, if any, are as handsome as I, but I run and play and play and play with them as equals. I really prefer to join a home that has another pup whom I can play and romp with.

I don't really enjoy a crate. It's just not where I'm supposed to be. But...you'll see...why would you want to put me in a cage anyway?

My foster human says I am doing really well with potty training and making steady progress every day. I'll master this, like everything else I do, very soon.

Currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX but can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $595 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
