Meet Pucca—the happiest little teddy bear!

Pucca is a two-year-old female who appears to be a small Poodle mix, possibly a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. Because she was rescued from the streets of Tijuana, her breed is our best estimate based on her appearance.

With her fluffy black coat, round face, sparkling eyes, and enormous smile, Pucca looks more like a stuffed animal than a real dog. In her photo, she is snuggled into a cozy bed beside her pink-and-white toy—and she certainly appears to appreciate the softer side of life!

Pucca is friendly with people and social with other dogs. She is a young, cheerful little dog who is ready to put street life behind her and discover everything a real home can offer: comfortable beds, fun adventures, tasty treats, and people who adore her.

The Poodle is a highly intelligent and elegant dog breed known for its distinctive curly coat and graceful appearance.
