DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi there... I'm Pup Murphy! I've had a bit of a tough start to life. I ended up in a shelter in Alabama when I was just six weeks old, and I've spent most of my puppyhood there. But guess what? Things are finally looking up! The wonderful people at K-9 Lifesavers rescued me and brought me up North so I can find the forever home I've been dreaming about.

Everyone says I'm a very good boy. I'm great with other dogs and have a calm, easygoing personality—especially for a young pup like me. I enjoy playing, exploring, and hanging out with my dog friends. Since I'm about five months old, I'm in the perfect stage for learning all the important dog things—like training, manners, and how to be the very best companion. I promise I'm ready to learn and give lots of love in return.

All I really want is a family to call my own. Someone who will give me belly rubs, teach me new things, and let me finally experience what it's like to have a real home. Could that be you? If you apply to adopt me, you might just change my life forever... and I promise I'll fill yours with love, tail wags, and puppy kisses.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
