At just 5 months old, this adorable Lab/Hound mix is already showing what a smart, loving, and loyal companion she's going to be. With her velvety-soft fur and those curious, soulful eyes, Marshmallow has a way of melting hearts the moment you meet her—and once you do, you won't want to let her go.
Marshmallow is more than just a pretty face—she's a quick learner, too! She already knows *sit, down, come, drop it,* and *leave it* (though she may need a little refresher as she settles into her new home). She's well on her way with crate and potty training, and with a consistent routine, she'll have everything down in no time.
This sweet girl walks nicely on leash, though she's still building confidence beyond the backyard—moving cars can be a little scary right now, so she'll need a patient, encouraging adopter to help her blossom. The good news? She's incredibly responsive and eager to learn, making her a joy to work with.
Marshmallow gets along well with other dogs and loves to play, though like any young pup, she's still polishing her manners. She's not destructive and is easily redirected if something catches her attention. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
