Meet Brandy, a three year old Pit mix weighing around 60 pounds.

Brandy is a chunky sweetheart who is still trying to figure out why her world changed so suddenly. She was brought to us after being found running loose with another dog, and while she's safe now, shelter life has been a lot for this sensitive girl to process.

Right now, Brandy is a little unsure of all the noise, new people, and unfamiliar routines. She isn't looking to be the center of attention—she's looking for someone she can trust. Once she finds that person, Brandy wants nothing more than to stay close by your side. She's the kind of dog who would happily become your shadow, following you from room to room just to be near you.

Brandy doesn't need someone to rush her. She just needs a patient family willing to give her time to settle in and realize she's safe. With a little understanding and a lot of love, we think this sweet girl will blossom into a devoted companion.
