Meet Simon!
Simon is a sweet, affectionate, playful boy who is finally getting the second chance he deserves!
After spending far too long in a shelter, Simon was facing euthanasia when his wonderful fosters stepped in to give him a fresh start. Now, he's learning what it means to be loved and enjoy life!
His foster family is still getting to know him, but one thing is already clear: Simon has SO much love to give! He's an affectionate, energetic boy who loves being close to his people. He's a bit of a Velcro dog and would happily be your constant companion!
Simon LOVES to play! Tug-of-war, chew toys, walks, and fetch are some of his favorites. He's still figuring out that bringing the ball back is part of fetch!
He's also a smart boy who's learning quickly! Simon is already crate trained and potty trained, knows sit and lay down, and takes treats gently.
Like any dog adjusting to a new environment, Simon is still learning a few things. He can get a little mouthy when he's excited and playing, but his fosters are helping him learn appropriate play and boundaries, and he's already making great progress!
Simon's ideal home would be an active, adult-only household where he can enjoy plenty of playtime, affection, and companionship. He was reported to do well with other dogs, although his fosters haven't introduced him to their resident dogs yet. His compatibility with cats is still unknown.
Most importantly, Simon deserves someone who sees all the wonderful potential in him. He's a loving, playful, smart boy who just needs someone willing to give him a little patience, consistency, and lots of love.
