Meet Ceres, formerly known as Emmy!

This curious little girl wants to know all about the world around her, especially if there's attention and cuddles involved! Ceres is a happy, playful puppy who loves climbing into laps for pets and being held. If you're giving her sister attention instead, she'll bounce her front paws up and down to remind you that she's waiting for her turn, too!

Ceres enjoys bursts of high-energy puppy play followed by serious nap time. She and her sister love wrestling (sometimes a little too enthusiastically!) and playing tug-of-war with ropes. One of her funniest tricks is rolling onto her back and getting herself stuck like a little turtle waiting for someone to help her flip over.

She's been happy to meet new people and soak up their attention. While she was initially nervous around the resident dogs in her foster home, she's warming up to them and becoming more curious about her canine housemates.

Ceres is still learning her puppy basics, including recognizing her name and practicing "sit." House training will get underway after her vaccinations. Like any young puppy, she'll need patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement as she learns the ropes.
