She has been waiting since April. That face. That sweet, patient, perfect face and somehow she is still looking for her person.

Cassie is a five year old Pit mix with a stunning blue and tan coat, warm amber eyes, and the kind of soulful expression that stops you completely in your tracks. She's coming to us from Texas, where she has been passed over month after month despite being everything you could ever want in a dog. Good with other dogs. Good with cats. Sixty pounds of pure sweetness arriving in Maine on October 10th and ready to finally come home.

She is not a puppy. She does not need to figure herself out. Cassie already knows exactly who she is calm, loving, steady, and ready to be someone's devoted companion for the rest of her life.

She has been patient long enough. The right person is out there, and we really hope this is the post that finds them.
