She is two years old, black and tan, and those amber eyes looking up at you are the kind that make you stop everything and just be present for a moment.

Chispa is a sleek, compact eighteen pound girl with a gentle, quiet nature that makes her an absolute dream to be around. She is people oriented in the warmest way — the kind of dog who gravitates toward you, leans in when you reach down to pet her, and looks up at you like you are exactly who she was hoping would show up. She walks beautifully on leash, gets along well with other dogs in a calm and easy way, and takes new situations at her own pace — a little time to settle, and then she is right there with you.

She is not loud about it. She does not need to be. Chispa simply has a way of making the people around her feel completely at ease, and she deserves someone who gives that same feeling right back to her.
