Looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home in Illinois! She can arrive August 1.
Some dogs just radiate happiness, and Miss Smiley Wiggle Butt is one of them.
Her story began in Mississippi, where she was found living in a parking lot before being picked up by animal control. Thankfully, rescuers recognized what a special girl she was and made sure she had the chance to find a brighter future. She has been thriving in her foster home since February and is now ready to make the journey to Illinois.
This sweet girl has an incredible temperament. She absolutely loves other dogs and has had zero issues with any of the pups in her foster home. If theres a playmate around, shes all in! She also peacefully coexists with cats and simply doesnt pay them any mind.
Shes wonderful with children, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. Her foster family says she is one of the happiest dogs theyve ever met. Shes always wearing a smile, and her tail wags so enthusiastically that her whole body sways—earning her the nickname Miss Smiley Wiggle Butt!
She did have a few potty-training accidents early on, but it turned out she had a urinary tract infection. Now that the UTI has been addressed, shes doing much better. Because she spends a lot of time outside in her current foster home and is crated overnight, she may just need a little consistency and patience as she settles into a new routine.
Miss Gracie is the total package—friendly, affectionate, playful, and full of joy. If youre looking for a dog who will greet every day (and every person) with a happy smile and a wagging tail, she just might be your perfect match.
