Meet Buehrle

Buehrle is a 1-year-old Rottweiler with a big heart, a sharp mind, and a bright future ahead of him. Like many young dogs, he still has some growing and learning to do, but he is already showing us just how sweet and loyal he can be.

When Buehrle came into rescue, he had severe scabbing and wounds around his neck, likely from spending long periods chained outside. Thankfully, he is receiving veterinary care, antibiotics, and lots of love, and he is healing beautifully. Because of his past experiences, he can be apprehensive about having a collar or leash put on. However, with patience, kindness, and trust, he allows handling and continues to make progress every day.

Buehrle is incredibly affectionate with people and loves attention from his humans. He is a very smart boy who learns quickly and enjoys figuring things out. He is already potty trained and is currently working on crate training.

As a typical young Rottweiler, Buehrle is strong, energetic, and will benefit from continued training and structure. He will do best with an experienced adopter or foster who understands large-breed dogs and is committed to helping him build confidence and good manners.

Buehrle is not yet neutered, but his neuter will be scheduled through our rescue.
