Hi, I’m Lokin!

I’m a very good boy with a sweet heart, a little weight to gain, and a whole lot of life ahead of me! I was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC), and now I’m finally getting the chance to experience something every dog deserves: safety, kindness, and people who care about me.

Right now, I’m taking things one day at a time. I need to put on some weight, get healthy, and decompress from everything I’ve been through. Shelter life can be overwhelming, so having a little time to relax and figure out my new surroundings means the world to me.

Even with everything going on, I’m already showing my rescue what a good boy I am. They’re still getting to know my personality as I settle in, and I’m looking forward to showing them more of who I am as I get comfortable.

I may not be quite ready to show off my full personality yet, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have something wonderful to offer. I deserve the same chance as every other dog to be loved, cared for, and given a home where I never have to worry about being forgotten.

For now, I’m working on filling out my skinny little body and learning that the world can be a good place. Hopefully, someone out there will see me and decide I’m worth growing with.

I’m Lokin. I don’t need someone to feel sorry for me. I just need someone to see the good boy I am and give me the future I deserve.
