Zelda - Border Terrier Dog for Adoption in Naperville, Illinois

Hi, I’m Zelda!

Guess who made it all the way from California to Illinois? This scruffy little girl! I was saved from euthanasia in California, and now I’ve officially arrived in Illinois, where I’m hoping to find the family I’ve been waiting for.

I’m a beautiful Border Terrier mix with the cutest scruffy face and a sweet personality. My rescue is still getting to know me as I settle into my new surroundings, but so far, I’m showing everyone what a good girl I am.

I’ve already overcome so much just to get here. Now I’m safe, getting the care I need, and finally have the chance to experience life outside the shelter. I may have traveled across the country, but the most important part of my journey is still ahead of me.

I’m Zelda. California gave me a second chance, Illinois gave me a fresh start, and now I’m hoping someone will give me a forever home!

The Border Terrier is a small, fearless, and affectionate breed known for their devotion to their families. With a wiry, weather resistant coat and an otter like head, they were originally bred for hunting foxes and vermin along the Scottish border. These energetic and intelligent dogs excel in various canine activities, including agility and obedience. Their friendly and playful demeanor makes them wonderful companions for active families, especially those who enjoy outdoor adventures with their loyal four legged friends.
