I was rescued from CACC while pregnant, and shortly after getting to safety, it became clear that my babies needed a little extra help making their entrance into the world. I needed a C-section to safely deliver my six puppies, and from that moment on, I took my job as Mama Darla very seriously.

I’ve been such a good mama, taking care of my babies and making sure they had everything they needed. But those puppies are growing up now, which means something pretty exciting is happening: I finally get to focus on me.

After everything I’ve done for my little family, I’m ready to find a family who will take care of me for a change. No more raising babies. No more mama duties. Just Darla—getting loved, spoiled, and finally getting to be someone’s baby herself.

Thanks to the generosity of a sponsor, this dog’s adoption fee has been reduced to help support their journey into a forever home. The adopter will also receive a ‘welcome home’ package with essential supplies & enrichment items, including two months of flea and tick prevention, toys, treats, and additional goodies to help make the transition into their new home as smooth as possible.
